Inspired by the power dynamics in religious and sexual fantasy, particularly in St. Theresa of Avila’s encounter with an angel, I created an anthropomorphic altar. Through this I portray the body as a vessel for divine energy, aiming to explore the convergence of erotica and religious art. This juxtaposition prompts reflection on whether sex carries religious undertones or if religion harbors sexual nuances.
