BA Graphic and Communication Design

I’m Hope! As a graphic designer, I have honed my skills in creating visually compelling designs that communicate powerful messages. My interest in advertising stems from a deep fascination with the power of visual storytelling and its ability to influence and inspire audiences. During my time at university, I had the invaluable opportunity to undertake a year in industry that allowed me to apply my knowledge in a professional setting. This experience not only enhanced my technical abilities but also taught me the importance of collaboration and client communication.

For a speculative design brief, I created “Un-Ink it!”, a product that instantly removes tattoos. The project involved designing innovative and appealing packaging to highlight the brand’s unique capability, presenting a futuristic solution for tattoo removal.

For the “Un-Ink it!” tattoo removal packaging, I designed labels featuring unique illustrations. These illustrations highlight the product’s instant tattoo removal capabilities, making the packaging visually engaging and informative. The design balances modern aesthetics with clear, user-friendly details, effectively communicating the product’s innovative benefits.

To advertise Pure Mint chewing gum, I created a vibrant campaign targeting students and professionals, emphasising enhanced focus and cognitive function. Using a chewed pencil as a symbol of concentration, the advertisement connects chewing gum with improved focus, suggesting Pure Mint as a more effective alternative.
